Date Night Lookbook With Ego!

Being in a long term relationship means that ‘Date Nights’ are not as regular as they used to be, with us choosing a takeaway and a movie night over going to a fancy restaurant and for cocktails. However, when we do make the effort to go out for a Date Night, I like to make a real effort – take my time doing my make up, get dressed up and grab my favourite pair of heels! I’ve always loved Ego’s shoes so I thought I would create a mini Date Night Lookbook using two of their amazing pairs of heels!

Taya Red Floral Platform Heel

I am obsessed with these shoes! I’ve loved this style of shoe for a while now but never picked up a pair until I got these ones from Ego. I am honestly the worst person to wear heels – I can fall over my own foot when I have no shoes on I’m that clumsy! So I find that platform heels are a lot easier to walk in. On nights out, especially with Kieran, I like to wear heels because I’m so small! And there’s just something about throwing on a pair of heels that makes you feel so glam and ‘done up’.

I teamed these Taya Platform Heels with this white Bardot top that I purchased from TopShop a while ago, although I think these shoes would match most outfits, especially something red because of the rose detailing on the back on the heel.

Fiona Pointed Toe Ankle Boot

Can you tell I love Red yet? As soon as I saw these shoes on the Ego website I knew I had to have them, they are amazing! They are the sock boot style, which is a style I’ve also wanted to try for the longest time. Ego do stock these shoes in a Nude and Black shade too, but I wanted to be a bit more out there and went for the red ones which I’m obsessed with!Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset

I thought these boots would look amazing with a full black outfit. In the pictures I teamed it up with a longline Black Jumper from Boohoo and some jeans as I really liked the casual vibes it gave off but when you added the heels it looked even more glam! For a night out with friends I would team these boots with some black pants and a black crop top – I’ve seen the most amazing one on Pretty Little Thing so keep an eye out for another lookbook soon!!
