February’s Glossybox

This is Glossybox’s month of finding Beauty Soulmates and obviously the theme around this month’s box is Valentine’s Day and Love and all of that kinda stuff. I love the box design for February, it’s so pretty and like I said, based around Valentine’s Day. I always keep any special designs on the boxes for storage and this one I will definitely be keeping.

As I said in last months Glossybox post, Glossybox had emailed me to apologise for sending me a product that I had already received in one of their boxes and so I got an extra product in this months box. I got the Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter in the shade Pink. It’s just like a tinted lip balm but looks natural on the lips as it’s pink.

So now onto the products that came with this month’s box. The first product is the Nicka K New York 24H Waterproof Eyeliner. Mine is in the shade Dark Brown. I’ve never tried a brown eyeliner before and at first when I saw this I thought, oh I’m never gonna wear this. But actually when I thought about it, my main go to look on my eyes is a brown smokey eye so a brown eyeliner would be perfect for these kind of looks so I know that I will definitely be using this. I also like that this doesn’t feel too hard so it hurt whilst putting it on.

The next product is the MUA Power Pout Glaze Low Voltage Gloss and mine came in a pink colour. This wasn’t my favourite product in this month’s box. I don’t really like the packaging of it to start with and I find the lid is really hard to get off. Also, I spent ages twisting the bottom of the stick for the Gloss to actually come out. When it did come out, it was more of a sheer colour. I’m more of a lipstick kind of girl rather than lipgloss, I never wear lipgloss and when I’ve swatched this on the back of my hand it does feel quite sticky so I’m not sure how it would be on the lips. I will probably give this to my mum or a friend who does like lipglosses and would get more use out of the product than I would.

Another product was the Vintage Cosmetic Company Floral Slanted Tweezers. I’ve seen these everywhere recently but as I already have a pair of tweezers, they aren’t something I would want to spend my money on. However, I am really happy they came in the box. I used them a couple of days ago and they are a lot better than the tweezers that I was using before. And also because of the pattern, they look really nice in your make up collection.

The next product is the Naobay Protective Hair Mask Volume Conditioner. I have only used this once since getting it because I don’t use a hair mask every time I wash my hair. I like to use one maybe once or twice a week and I love trying out new ones so I was so happy when I saw this in the box this month. I have heard of Naobay before but had never tried any products and it smells quite like natural. It does say on the bottle that the brand is natural and organic and you can kind of tell that from the scent. I will definitely be trying this out more over the next couple of weeks so I might do a full review on this product.

The final product in this month’s box is the Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor. I didn’t expect anything like a razor to be included in one of these boxes, especially one of this size. I have used this once since writing this post and I found it a lot easier to shave my legs with this and it was a lot quicker. As it already has a built in soap around the razor, you don’t need to put a body wash on beforehand and then shave because as soon as you wet this razor and start to shave, the soap from around the razor does this job for you.

That is the February Glossybox, all about finding Beauty Soulmates and Valentine’s Day. I am actually really happy with this box, as I said I think the box looks really pretty and I think there were some really good products in this month’s box.
