First Impressions

Hey guys! So today I wanted to do a little bit of a different kind of post that I’ve been wanting to do for a while but I wanted to have enough products. Over the past few months I have a box with products that I have never tried and also some brands that I have never tried so I wanted to do a First Impressions type of post to review each brand/product to show you guys. I can’t remember where I got most of these products from but I think the majority were from the Feel Unique advent calendar that I had for Christmas.

So the first product I have is the Grown Alchemist Hydra-Repair Day Cream. I love this day cream and as I have recently run out of moisturiser, this has been my replacement. I love the scent and I love how it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy but does leave it feeling hydrated. This is definitely a product I would purchase!

The next is La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo (+) which is basically to correct any imperfections and blemishes on your skin. I haven’t had too many blemishes since having this product so haven’t been able to test this product out properly yet but I wanted to include it in this post anyway. Again, I like the scent of this product and it feels nice on the skin. If I have any blemishes I will definitely try this product as I have heard so many good things about the brand in general.

The next item is a product that I was sent to review, any items that I am sent I will always let you know that I have been sent them and I will always give my honest review on the product. So this is the Sudocrem Skin Care Cream. This can be used as a moisturiser, a face mask and a spot cream. I haven’t tested this as a moisturiser yet as I have been testing the Grown Alchemist one. However, I would definitely recommend this as a face mask or as a spot cream. This makes your skin feel quite soft after using it so it is perfect for a face mask. Before being sent this product, I had already heard about people putting sudocrem on spots and me and mum have been using this for a couple of years now but with it being in a tube like this, it just makes it easier so this will definitely be the product I turn to any time I get any spots.

Monu First Defence Illuminating Primer – I really wanted to love this primer but I honestly was not impressed by this at all. The first thing I found with this is that it’s really hard to get out of the bottle because it doesn’t have a pump or a little tube at the end to squeeze it out so I ended up with way more product that I needed. And then when I put this on my face, it just really didn’t work for me. It didn’t blend into my skin and it just left my face white and no matter how much I tried to rub it into my skin, it just wouldn’t blend in at all so I had to take this off and use a different primer.

So that is everything that I have in my little box of samples to test. Let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you think of them in the comments.
